Euclid Street is a north-south corridor, which is designated as a major

The rehabilitation of Euclid Street between the South City Limits and
McFadden Avenue has been a long-term goal (Exhibit 1).
Several other segments of Euclid Street have been rehabilitated in
previous fiscal years. This project includes pavement rehabilitation,
sidewalk repair, curb and gutter, and handicapped access improvements.
Once completed, these improvements will enhance the ride quality, surfa~e
drainage, and visual appearance of the street.
The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on December 9 and 10, 2003 and
bids were opened on January 9, 2004. A summary of the bid invitations
