FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
A-2004-061
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is entered into on April 5, 2004,
by and between Mexican American Opportunity Foundation ("Consultant") and the City
of Santa Ana ("City").
Recitals:
A. The parties entered into Agreement #A-2003-162, dated July 21, 2003, (hereinafter
"said Agreement") by which Consultant has provided vocational/occupational
training, employment strategies, education and supportive services to individuals
residing in the Federal Empowerment Zone.
B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to
increase the compensation available to Consultant for additional marketing and
outreach efforts provided by Consultant.
Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject
to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First
Amendment to Agreement, the parties agree as follows:
Section 2.a., COMPENSATION, shall be amended to increase the compensation by
$5,414.00, for a total amount not to exceed $89,924.00 during the term of said
Agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment to
Agreement on the date and year first written above.
