RECOMMENDED ACTION
Award a contract to RSE- Sierra Switchgear & Transformer Service, Inc.
for the purchase of a low voltage switchboard and related switchgear
8 components for the Walnut Pumping Station in the amount of $33,898.15.
DISCUSSION
The Public Works Agency's Water Resources Division is upgrading the
motor control center at the Walnut Pumping Station. To provide space
for the new equipment, the metering switchgear and switchboard will be
relocated outside. The new switchboard will be fabricated to meet all
National Electric Codes and Southern California Edison safety
requirements.
The notice inviting bids was advertised on May
