Amend the contract to increase the aggregate limit
$13,000 for the purchase of recreation equipment,
not to exceed $23,000.

to BSN Sports West by
for an annual amount
The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency provides a variety
of summer programs at the City's recreation centers. Programs include
the Summer P. R. I . D. E. Tennis Program, Youth Sports Program, and After
School Program. BSN Sports West has been a supplier of recreation
equipment for the programs. The vendor offers reliable service,
competitive pricing and has consistently provided the lowest responsive
informal bids.
The purchase of new equipment, including scoreboards, games, and
baseball, football, and tennis equipment by several departments has
exceeded the $10,000 aggregate limit, thereby requiring City Council
approval. Staff requests approval to increase the aggregate limit to
$23,000 for BSN Sports West to provide uninterrupted purchases of
recreation equipment.
