RECOMMENDED ACTION
Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager and the
Clerk of the Council to execute an amendment to the agreement with Tiburon
Inc. for the maintenance and repair of the Santa Ana Police Jail
Management System, extending the term of the agreement for an additional
4IJear in an amount not to exceed $41,000.
DISCUSSION
On September 2, 2003, the City of Santa Ana entered into an agreement with
Tiburon, Inc. to provide services and maintenance for the Jail Management
System (JMS). The JMS is utilized to book and track inmates at the Santa
Ana Jail facility. This amendment provides for continued software and
hardware maintenance and support.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available in the Police Department's Computer
Maintenance and Repair account (account no. 011-338-6291).
