OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA AHA, CALIFORNIA
April 12, 1972 ·
The meeting was called to order at 4:00 P.M., in the Mayor's Office, Room 303,
City Hall, 217 North Main Street, with the following Councilmen present: Ray
Villa, Vernon S. Evans, Wade Serrin, Harry K. Yamamoto, J. Ogden Markel,
and Mayor Lorin Griset. Councilman Jerry M. Patterson arrived at 4:10 P. Mo
Also present were City Manager Carl J. Thornton, City Attorney James A.
Withers, Clerk of the Council Florence I. Malone and representatives of the
Los Angeles Times and The Register newspapers. Evidence of proper Notice
of the meeting was on file with the Clerk.
EXECUTIVE SESSION It was moved by Councilman Herrin,
seconded by Councilman Evans and
unanimously carried, to adjourn to
executive session to consider the appointment of a City Manager.
ADJOURNMENT
At 5:40 P~M., Mayor Griset adjourned
the meeting.
