The Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) is a federal grant program
administered in California by the State Librarian. Each year the State
Librarian awards grants on a competitive basis. This year the Santa Ana
Public Library was awarded a $25,000 grant for the purchase of non-English
or bilingual adult and children's materials. Acceptance of this grant
will allow library staff to enhance services designed to meet the needs of
our immigrant community.
