Amendment 3 to Standard Inter-Ae:encv Service Ae:reement
This Amendment is made and entered into this 1 s t day of
July ,2004, by and between Rancho Santiago Community College
District (hereinafter "District") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter and municipal
corporation of the State of California, (hereinafter "Agency").
RECITALS:
A. The parties entered into that certain agreement entitled "Standard Inter-
Agency Services Agreement" dated June 14,2001, hereinafter referred to as
"said Agreement", by which Agency provides instructional services to
District.
B. The Parties hereto desire to amend the term and compensation of said
Agreement in order to continue the instructional services by Agency
WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective covenants and
promises hereinafter contained and made, and subject to all of the terms and
conditions of said Agreement as hereby amended, the parties hereby agree as
follows:
1. Paragraph 2- Term, of said Agreement shall be amended to read as
follows:
Term - This Agreement shall commence on June 14,2001 and
terminate on June 30, 2007, unless terminated earlier upon 30 days
prior written notice given by either party. The term of this Agreement
may be extended upon a writing executed by the Chief of Police and
the City Attorney, for Agency and by the Vice Chancellor for
Business/Finance, for District.
2. Paragraph 3- Agency Fee and Expenses, shall be amended to read as
follows:
Agency Fee and Expenses - The fee to be paid by District for the
service and materials to be supplied hereunder is $2.00 per student per
student contact hour. Commencing July 1,2004, said hours shall
increase from 15,000 hours to 20,000 student contact hours per fiscal
year. Commencing July 1, 2004, the total fee to be paid by District to
Agency during the 2004-2005, 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 fiscal years
shall not exceed $40,000 each fiscal year.
The Agency shall invoice the District quarterly, supplying
mutually acceptable documentation of student contact hours during the
quarter.
3. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said
Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Amendment to
Agreement the date and year first above written.

The coverage provided to the Covered Party is hereby extended by this endorsement to the Additional Covered Party named above in
accordance with the provisions contained in the Memorandum of Coverage (MOC). The coverage extended hereby applies only with
respect to liability arising out of activities in the Description of Operations, Vehicle, or Property noted above. It is intended by
ASCIP in issuing this endorsement to defend and/or indemnify the Additional Covered Party in respects to the activity cited above.
In issuing this endorsement, ASCIP intends and agrees to extend coverage pursuant to the terms and conditions of the MOC to the
Additional Covered Party named above only to the extent that the Additional Covered Party faces liability arising out of claims,
demands, or lawsuits claiming money damages on account of bodily injury or property damage as defined and limited in the ASCIP
MOC. The limits of liability extended to the Additional Covered Party listed above is $1,000,000 per occurrence for liability.
With respects to claims arising out of the operations and occupancy by or on behalf of the named insured, such insurance as is
afforded by this policy is primary.
