RECOMMENDED ACTION
Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager and
Clerk of the Council to execute agreements for litigation related
attorney services with the following companies:
Janney and Janney Attorney Service, Inc.
Kennedy Court Reporters, Inc.
The Cardomon Group, Inc.
Santa Ana
Santa Ana
Santa Ana
DISCUSSION
The use of litigation support services is an essential component of any
law office. These services include court reporting, court filing
services, photocopying, and videographers.
After reviewing our ongoing needs and current providers, the City
Attorney's office requested proposals from 12 local service providers.
Eleven proposals were received and evaluated. The top three service
providers were identified and are being forwarded to council for
approval. The three service providers selected have been used by the City
Attorney's Office and have provided competitive rates along with
excellent service.
