Debbie Leance, Alize, Esmeralda Serrano, Julie Meskell, Regina Martinez, Julio Tsuha,
Ruben Bernal, Michelle Lepe, Mac Martin, Jaime Vega and Duane Roberts addressed
the Council relative to concerns about the Santa Ana Police Department's response at
a protest event in the City in October.

ADOPTION OF GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION RESULTS
Motion:
Adopt resolution.
RESOLUTION NO. 2004-091 - A resolution of the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana declaring the results of the General Municipal Election held in
said City on November 2, 2004 - Clerk of the Council Office

The Mayor called for nominations for the position of Mayor Pro Tem.
Council member Alvarez nominated Councilmember Bist seconded by
Council member Solorio.
Close nominations for position of Mayor Pro Tern and elect
Councilrnernber Lisa Bist.

. Thanked his wife and family for their patience during the long
campaign
. Thanked all who worked on his campaign
. Noted that he loved the City of Santa Ana and encouraged anyone
that does not live in the city to move to the City
. Wants to continue the great work that has begun in the City
