A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA RECOMMENDING THAT THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA CALL
A SPECIAL CITY-WIDE ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 5,
1974, TO SUBMIT TO THE VOTERS OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA A BALLOT MEASURE AUTHORIZING
THE HOUSING AUTHORITY TO DEVELOP, CONSTRUCT,
AND ACQUIRE LOW-RENT HOUSING SPECIFICALLY
DESIGNED FOR ELDERLY LOW-INCOME RESIDENTS

BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing Authority of the City of
Santa Ana, California:
SECTION 1: That the Housing Authority of the City of
Santa Ana hereby recommends to the City Council of the City
of Santa Ana that an ordinance be adopted calling for a
special City-wide election on November 5, 1974, to submit
to the voters of the City of Santa Ana the following ballot
measure:

"CITY OF SANTA ANA LOW-RENT HOUSING PROPOSAL FOR
ELDERLY LOW-INCOME RESIDENTS
Shall the Housing Authority of the City of
Santa Ana develop, construct, and acquire in the
City of Santa Ana, with Federal Assistance and/br
assistance from a State public body, low-rent
housing specifically designed for elderly low-
income residents.
This proposition requires a majority vote."
