RESOLUTION NO. 85- 3
RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF THE MEMORANDUM OF UN-
DERSTANDING REGARDING THE RENTAL
REHABILITATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the United States Department of Housing and Urban
Development ("HUD") has approved the Rental Rehabilitation Program
("Program") of the City of Santa Ana ("CITY") and the Housing Author-
ity of the City of Santa Ana ("PHA") pursuant to Section 17 of the
United States Housing Act of 1937 (42 U.S.C. 1437Ø); and
WHEREAS, CITY has received a commitment from HUD for the
Program for funds for Federal Fiscal Year 1984 to finance the reha-
bilitation of rental properties for the benefit of lower-income fami-
lies; and
WHEREAS, HUD has approved the PHA's application
assistance funds under HUD's Section 8 Existing Housing
Program and HUD's section 8 Housing Voucher Program; and
