RESOLUTION 86-10
RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA APPROVING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION
TO THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND
URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR ADDITIONAL HOUSING VOUCHERS
UNDER THE "SECTION 8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
FOR EXISTING HOUSING."
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa
Ana is authorized to administer the "Housing Assistance Pro-
gram for the Section 8 Existing Housing Program for the
United States Department of Housing and Urban Development
("HUD"); and
WHEREAS, HUD notified the Housing Authority of the
City of Santa Ana on August 13, 1986 that Section 8 Housing
Vouchers are available which would increase the number of
persons of low and moderate income who may be assisted in
their housing within the City of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, the seventeen (17) Section 8 Housing Vouchers
are consistent with our Housing Assistance Plan (HAP);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing Authority
of the City of Santa Ana as follows:
1. The submission of an application to the United
States Department of Housing and Urban Development for
seventeen (17) additional Section 8 Housing Vouchers is hereby
approved.
2. The Executive
