A RESOWl'ION OF '!HE HOOSING AIJIHORITY OF '!HE
CI'lY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING I'I\S ~ OProRlUNITY HOOSING PlAN
WHEREAS the United States Deparbnent of Hous~ an:i urtJan Develcpnent (HUD)
has issued regulations requir~ public hous~ authorities to submit an equal
opportunity hous~ plan with each application for participation in a section 8
Exist.ing Hous~ Project (Project); an:i
WHEREAS, the Hous~ Authority of the City of Santa Ana (Authority) is duly
qualified as a p.1blic hous~ authority to apply to HUD to participate in such
a project; an:i

WHEREAS, cœunissioners of the Authority have reviewed each an:i fiNerY part
of the updated plans; an:i
WHEREAS, it is in the p.1blic interest an:i for the p.1blic benefit that saiçl
plan be approved an:i submitted to HUD.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. '!he Equal Opportunity Hous~ Plan is hereby approved.

2. '!he Executive Director of the Hous~ Authority of the city of Santa
Ana is hereby authorized to submit the approved plan to HUD in accordance with
24 CFR 882.204(b).
