FOR AOOITICNAL IKJUSING CERl'IFICATES AND vooæERS UNDER '!HE
SECl'ICN 8 IKJUSING ASSIS'ITINCE PROGRAM FOR EXISTING IKJUSING
WHEREAS, the Hoos~ Authority of the city of santa Ana is
authorized to administer the Hoos~ P1.U<JLdIIl for the Section 8
Existin;J Program for the United states Deparbnent of Hoos~ and
Urban Develo¡:ment ("HUD") ¡ and
WHEREAS, HUD notified the Hoos~ Authority of the city of
Santa Ana (''Hous~ Authority") that Section 8 Certificates and
Voud1ers are available which 1IIO\Ùd increase the rnnnber of persons
of low and moderate incane who may be assisted in their hous~
within the city of santa Ana¡ and
WHEREAS, the one hurxired Section 8 Hoos~ Certificates and
Voud1ers are consistent with oor Hoos~ Assistance Plan (''HAP'') ¡
NCM, 'lHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Hoos~ Authority of
the City of santa Ana as follows:
1. 'Ihe subnission of an a~lication to the United states
Department of HOUS~ and Urban Develo¡:ment for fifty acklitional
Section 8 Hoos~ Certificates and fifty additional Section 8
Hoos~ Voud1ers is hereby awroved.
2. 'Ihe Executive Director of the Hoos~ Authority of the
City of Santa Ana is hereby authorized and directed to take all
t1P""""~ary steps to file said a~lication and to provide such
information as may be required.
