RESOLUTION NO. 93-02
A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING ITS ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN
TO INCLUDE THE FAMILY UNIFICATION DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the United States Department of Housing and
Urban Development ("OOD") has approved the Housing Authority of the
city of Santa Ana ("PHA") as a qualified public housing authority
to participate in the BUD Section 8 existing Housinq Program ("said
program")¡ and
WHEREAS, HUD has issued regulations allowing the PHA to
amend its administrative plan for participating in said proqram to
include a "Family Unification Demonstration Program"¡ and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the Housing Advisory
Commission to the PHA have reviewed and approved each and every
part of the Family Unification Demonstration program¡ and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest and for the public
qood that the PHA approve the amended plan and submit it to OOD.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1.
The Amended Administrative Plan is hereby approved.
2.
The Family Unification Demonstration Program is
hereby approved.

3.
The Executive Director of the Housing Authority of
the City of Santa Ana is hereby authorized to submit
the approved amended administrative plan to BUD in
accordance with 24 CPR 882.209(a) (4)(ii) (B)
4.
The Executive Director of the Housing Authority of
the City of Santa Ana is hereby authorized to execute
a memorandum of understandinq with the Oranqe County
Social Services Agency for identifyinq and assistinq
eliqible families for the Family Reunification
Proqram.
