RESOLUTION NO. 95-02
RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING PART I OF
THE SECTION 8 EXISTING MODERATE REHABILITATION PROGRAM
FOR SINGLE ROOM OCCUPANCY DWELLINGS FOR HOMELESS
INDIVIDUALS ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT NO. CA-503 (K)(SRO)
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana
("PHA") is authorized to administer the "Housing Assistance Program
for the sectiGn 8 Moderate Rehabilitation Program for Single Room
Occupancy Dwellings for Homeless Individuals" for the united States
Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD")¡ and
WHEREAS, the PHA desires to enter into a Part I of the Section
8 Annual contributions Contract ("ACC") with HUD for the section 8
Moderate Rehabilitation Program for Single Room Occupancy for
Homeless Individuals. '
WHEREAS, the section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation for single Room
Occupancy will consist of the following counterparts:
a.
Part I of the ACC, HUD 52520B (SUPP) (10/79), applicable
to the section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation program¡ with
b.
Exhibit I to Part Ii and
c.
Exhibit II to Part II, adding project No. CA16-K093-003.
d.
Byrd Amendment Award Clause
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the PHA as follows:
1. The Part I of the ACC for the Housing
Rehabilitation Program is hereby approved and accepted.

2. The Chairman and Executive Director of the Housing
Authority are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
counterparts of the ACC on behalf of the PHA, and the Secretary is
hereby authorized to impress the official seal bf the PHA on such
counterpart and to forward such documents evidencing the approval
and authorizing the execution thereof as may be required by the
government.
3. The Housing Authority declares this to be an emergency
matter under Health and Safety Code section 34292.
4.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
