MINUTES
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
February 18, 1975
The Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of
Santa Ana was called to order at 2:10 P.M., by Chairman Harry
K. Yamamoto, in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza,
Santa Ana. The following members of the Authority responded
to the roll call:

The full reading of the
Minutes of January 20,
1975 meeting was waived
and they were approved as mailed, on the unanimously carried
(7-0) motion of Commissioner Evans, seconded by Commissioner Ward.

BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS
Nothing to report.
The Executive Director
described the new
housing program under
Section 23 Leased Housing. He stated that applicants would be
certified as being eligible for the program by being issued
Certificates of Eligibility. The applicant could then proceed
to make his own rental arrangements anywhere he might chose to
live within the City. In addition, he stated that applications
for the new program are being accepted along with applications
for the new senior citizens development.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF ANNUAL
CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT
FOR LEASING PRIVATE ACCOMMODATIONS PURSUANT TO SECTION 23
HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS PROGRAM AND PROVIDING FOR A GENERAL
DEPOSITARY AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO. CA-093-004, was unanimously
adopted, by title only, on motion of Commissioner Garthe and
seconded by Commissioner Ward, subsequent to a motion by Com-
missioner Garthe, seconded by Commissioner Ward, and unanimously
carried, to waive full reading of the Resolution.

Commissioner Ward
requested that staff
provide the Commission
with information regarding Assembly Bill 116, pertaining to
housing development, to determine whether or not the bill could
be supported by the Authori ty and the Ci ty Council.
ADJOURNMENT The Regular Meeting was
adjourned at 2:25 P.M.,
on the unanimously
approved motion of Commissioner Evans, seconded by Commissioner
Garthe.
