MINUTES
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
July 19, 1976
The Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of
Santa Ana, was called to order at 2:18 P.M., by Chairman Harry
K. Yamamoto, in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza,
Santa Ana. The following members of the Authority responded to
the roll call:

BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS
REPORT OF DIRECTOR On motion of Com-
missioner Evans,
seconded by Commissioner
Ward, and carried (7-0) the following documents were received and
filed:
1.
The Monthly Report for the Section 23 - Leased
Housing (Existing Units), indicating that 72
of the 90 authorized units were under lease as
of July 1, 1976.
2.
The Monthly Report for the Revised Section 23
Housing Assistance Payments Program (HAP),
indicating that 48 of the 50 units authorized
by HUD are under lease and occupied by tenants
as of July 1, 1976.

A RESOLUTION OF THE
HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF SECTION
8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE
PAYMENTS PROGRAM ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT PART I FOR EXISTING
HOUSING PROGRAM INCLUDING PROJECT NUMBERS CA16-E093-001 AND CA16-
E093-004, PROVIDING FOR THE INCORPORATION OF SAID PART I INTO
MASTER SECTION 8 ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT NO. SF-503 AND
AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY TO EXECUTE A
LETTER AGREEMENT TERMINATING THAT PART OF SECTION 23 HOUSING
ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS PROGRAM ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT NO.
SF-492 CONSISTING OF PROJECT NO. CA-093-004, was adopted on motion
of Commissioner Bricken, seconded by Commissioner Ward and unani-
mously carried (7-0).
RESOLUTION NO. 76-7
TERMINATING REVISED
SECTION 23 PROGRAM
ADOPTED
The Resolution was adopted as recommended in the report prepared
by Edward L. Flores, dated July 12, 1976 and is the culmination
of the seven month process of converting the 300 housing units
previously approved by HUD, the federal housing agency, for the
Revised Section 23 program and placing these same allocation
under the Section 8 program. The resolution calls for the
Chairman of the Housing Authority to authorize the acceptance
of a revised Annual Contributions Contract and to simultaneously
terminate the previously approved allocation for the Revised
Section 23 program.
