MINUTES
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
March 3, 1980 2:04 P.M.
The re9u1ar meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana
was called to order at 2:04 p.m. by Chairman Luxembourger in the City
Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California. After
the pledge to the flag and invocation, roll was called:

MONTHLY REPORT: SECTION 8
HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS
PROGRAM - RECEIVE AND FILE
The Monthly Section 8 Report was re-
ceived and filed on a MOTION by
Commissioner Ward, seconded by
Commissioner Bricken. The motion
carried with no discussion.

Resolution 80-4 was adopted by the
Housing Authority on a MOTION by
Commissioner Ward, seconded by
Commissioner Serrato. Mr. Grams
elaborated on the resolution by saying that it was conditioned on a 30-
day termination clause. Any agreement between Santa Ana Housing
Authority and another Housing Authority to allow Certificate transfer
may be terminated with a 30-day written notice. The transfer is also
subject to the availability of a Certificate in the correct category and
bedroom size. Mr. Grams also informed the Commission that HUD was
urging the Housing Authority to consider such an agreement.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Mr. Marshall Nettles, Executive Director of the O.I.C., addressed the Commission
on the construction of 100 units under the HUD 202 program (a new construction
project for senior citizens/handicapped persons). On a MOTION by Commissioner
Bricken, seconded by Commissioner Ward, this issue was referred to staff for a
report in two weeks.

was reconviened at 10:45 p.m. On a MOTION

the next regua1r meeting of the Housing Authority on April 7, 1980.
