MINUTES
HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
REGULAR MEETING
JANUARY 4, 1982
The regular meeting of the Housing Authority Commission of the City of
Santa Ana was called to order at 2:14 p.m. by Chairman Bricken in the
City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California.

The following staff were present:

Rex Swanson, Assistant City Manager
Edward J. Cooper, Authority Counsel
Alex Sanchez, Executive Director
Debbie Vona, Secretary
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
The Minutes of the December 7, 1981 Housing
Authority Commission Meeting were approved 6:0
on a MOTION by Mrs. McGuigan and seconded by Mr.
Acosta.
REPORTS
Monthly Status Report for November 1981 for the Section 8 Housing
Assistance Program - The Monthly Status Report was Received and Filed
on a MOTION by Mrs. McGuigan, seconded by Mr. Acosta, and carried 6:0.
NEW BUSINESS
Delegation of Claims Processing Procedure - Resolution 82-1, author-
lzing the City Attorney, actlng as Legal Counsel to the Housing
Authority, to perform claims functions as permitted by Government Code
Sections 935.4 and 949, was adopted on a MOTION by Mrs. McGuigan,
seconded by Mr. Griset, and carried 6:0.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Housing Authority Com-
mission, the meeting was adjourned at 2:17 p.m.
