MINUTES
HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
REGULAR MEETING
SEPTEMBER 7, 1982
The regular meeting of the Housing Authority Commission of the City of
Santa Ana was called to order at 3:06 p.m. by Mayor Pro Tem Serrato in
the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California.
PRESENT

Robert W. Luxembourger
John Acosta
Al Serrato
patricia McGuigan
Daniel E. Griset
J. Ogden Markel
The following staff were present:
A. J. Wilson, City Manager
Rex Swanson, Assistant City Manager
Edward J. Cooper, Authority Counsel
Alex Sanchez, Executive Director
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
The Minutes of the August 2, 1982 Housing
Authority Commission Meeting were approved 7:0
on a MOTION by Mrs. McGuigan, and seconded by
Mr. Bricken.
REPORTS
Monthly Status Report for the Section 8 Housing Assistance Program for
July 1982 - The Monthly Status Report was Received and Filed on a
MOTION by Mrs. McGuigan, seconded by Mr. Acosta, and carried 7:0.
NEW BUSINESS
Submission of Application for Additional Certificates - The Housing
Authority Commission of the City of Santa Ana adopted a resolution
approving the submission of an application to the United States
Department of Housing and Urban Development for additional certif-
icates under the "Section 8 Housing Assistance Program for Existing
Housing, Rental Rehabilitation Demonstration Program" on a MOTION by
Mrs. McGuigan, seconded by ,Mr. Acosta, and carried 7:0.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Housing Authority Com-
mission, the meeting was adjourned at 3:09 p.m.
