HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
REGULAR MEETING
MARCH 14,1983
The regular meeting of the Housing Authority Commission of the City of
Santa Ana was called to order at 4:21 p.m. by Vice Chairman Luxembourger
in the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana,
Cal ifornia.

The following staff were present:

Rex Swanson, Assistant City Manager
Edward J. Cooper, Authority Counsel
Alex Sanchez, Executive Director
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
The Minutes of the February 7,1983 Housing
Authority Commission Meeting were approved 6:0
on a MOTION by Mr. Acosta, and seconded by Mrs.
McGuigan.
REPORTS
A.
11onthly Status Report for the Section 8 Housing Assistance Program
for January 1983 - The Monthly Status Report was Received and
Filed on a MOTION by Mrs. McGuigan, seconded by Mr. Acosta, and
carried 6:0.
NEW BUSINESS
A.
Memorandum of Understanding - Rental Rehabilitation Demonstration
Program - The Housing Authority Commission authorized staff to use
the 32 Section 8 certificates for the Rental Rehabilitation
Program, and authorized the Chairman to execute a Memorandum of
Understanding for the conduct of the program on a MOTION by Mr.
Serrato, seconded by Mr. Markel, and carried 6:0.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Housing Authority Com-
mission, the meeting was adjourned at 4:28 p.m.
