MINUTES
HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
SPECIAL MEETING
JUNE 20,1983
The Special Meeting of the Housing Authority Commission of the City of
Santa Ana was called to order by Chairman Luxembourger at 3:43 p.m., in
the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California.

The following staff were present:
A. J. Wilson, City Manager
Rex Swanson, Assistant City Manager
Edward J. Cooper, City Attorney
Alex Sanchez, Director of Housing
NEW BUSINESS
A.
Application to HUD for 200 Additional Certificates Under the
Section 8 Rent Assistance Program - On a MOTION by Mr. Bricken,
seconded by Mrs. McGuigan, and carried 7:0, the Housing Authority
Commission adopted Resolution 83-2, approving the submission of an
application to the federal department of Housing and Urban
Development for 200 additional units.
Application to HUD for 100 Additional Certificates Under the
Section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation Program - On a MOTION by Mr.
Bricken, seconded by Mrs. McGuigan, and carried 7:0, the Commission
adopted Resolution 83-3, approving the submission of an application
to the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development.
B.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Housing Authority Commission,
the meeting was adjourned by unanimous informal consent at 3:47 p.m.
