MINUTES
HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
OCTOBER 10,1983
The Adjourned Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority Commission of
the City of Santa Ana was called to order at 3:28 p.m. by Chairman
Luxembourger in the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza,
Santa Ana, California.

P. Lee Johnson
Daniel H. Young
The following staff were present:
Rex Swanson, Interim City Manager
Edward J. Cooper, Authority Counsel
Alex Sanchez, Director of Housing
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
The Minutes of the September 6,1983 Housing
Authority Commission Meeting were approved 7:0
on a MOTION by Mr. Johnson, and seconded by Mr.
Griset.
REPORTS
A.
Monthly Status Report for the Section 8 Housing Assistance Program
for August 1983 - The Monthly Status Report was Received and Filed
on a MOTION by Mr. Griset, seconded by Mr. Johnson, and carried
7:0.
NEW BUSINESS
A.
Application to U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
for 13 Additional Certificates Under the "Section 8 Housing
Assistance Program for Existing Housing, Rental Rehabilitation" -
Resolution 83-4, approving the submission of an application to the
federal Department of Housing and Urban Development, was adopted
7:0 on a MOTION by Mr. Griset, and seconded by Mr. Johnson.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Housing Authority Com-
mission, the Meeting was adjourned at 3:31 p.m.
