MINUTES
HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
REGULAR MEETING
APRIL 1, 1985
The Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority Commission of the City of
Santa Ana was called to order at 4:52 p.m. by Chairman Griset in the
City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California.

The following staff were present:
Robert C. Bobb, City Manager
Rex Swanson, Deputy City Manager
Edward J. Cooper, Authority Counsel
Phil Freeland, Executive Director
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
The Minutes of the March 4, 1985 Housing
Authority Commission Meeting were approved 7:0
on a MOTION by Mr. Acosta, and seconded by Mr.
Luxembourger.
REPORTS
A.
Monthly Status Report for the Section 8 Housing Assistance Program
for February 1985 - The Monthly Status Report was Received and
Filed on a MOTION by Mrs. McGuigan, seconded by Mr. Griset, and
carried 7:0.
NEW BUSINESS
A.
Application to HUD for 75 Additional Certificates Under the
Section 8 Rent Assistance Program, Targeted to the Homeless-
Resolution 85-5, which approves the submission of an application
to the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to assist
the homeless, was adopted on a MOTION by Mrs. McGuigan, seconded
by Mr. Acosta, and carried 7:0.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Housing Authority Com-
mission, the Meeting was adjourned at 4:53 p.m.
