ADJOURNED MEETING
OCTOBER 19, 1987
The Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority of the city of Santa Ana
was called to order at 4:44 p.m. by Chairman Young in the City Council
Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California.

The following staff were present: David N. Ream, city Manager
Edward J. Cooper, Authority Counsel
Cynthia J. Nelson, Executive Director
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
The Minutes of the September 21, 1987 Housing
Authority Meeting were approved on a Motion by
Authority Member Acosta, seconded by Authority
Member McGuigan, and carried 7:0.

CONSENT CALENDAR
A.
Monthly Status Report for the section 8 Housing Assistance
program: AUGUST 1987 -- The Monthly Status Report was received and
filed on a Motion by Authority Member McGuigan, seconded by
Authority Member Pulido, and carried 7:0.
NEW BUSINESS
A.
Application to HUD for 32 Additional Housing Vouchers Under
the section 8 Rental Assistance Program. -- Resolution 87-5
was adopted on a Motion by Authority Member McGuigan, seconded
by Authority Member Griset and carried 7:0.
MISCELLANEOUS
A.
Secretarv of the Authoritv Report: The Secretary of the
Housing Authority was instructed to insert the following into
the minutes on a Motion by Authority Member Acosta, seconded
by Authority Member McGuigan and carried 7:0: Pursuant to
Government Code section 54954.2 the October 19, 1987 Housing
Authority Agenda was posted on the door of the Council
Chambers, 22 civic Center Plaza, at 8:30 a.m. on October 16,
1987.

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Housing Authority, the
Meeting was adjourned at 4:45 p.m.
