REGULAR MEETING
JANUARY 4, 1988
The Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana
was called to order at 4:17 p.m. by Chairman Young in the city Council
Chambers, 22 civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California.

The following staff were present: David N. Ream, City Manager

Cynthia J. Nelson, Executive Director
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
The Minutes of the December 7, 1987 Housing
Authority Meeting were approved on a Motion by
Authority Member Acosta, seconded by Authority
Member May and carried 5:0 with Authority Member
McGuigan abstaining.

CONSENT CALENDAR
A.
Monthly Status Report for the Section 8 Housing Assistance
Program: NOVEMBER 1987 -- The Monthly Status Report was received
and filed on a Motion by Authority Member Acosta, seconded by
Authority Member McGuigan, and carried 6:0.
MISCELLANEOUS
A.
Secretary of the Authoritv ReDort: The Secretary of the
Housing Authority was instructed to insert the following into
the minutes on a Motion by Authority Member Pulido, seconded
by Authority Member Acosta and carried 5:0: Pursuant to
Government Code Section 54954.2 the January 4,1988 Housing
Authority Agenda was posted on the door of the Council
Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, at 8:30 a.m. on December 31,
1987.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Authority Member McGuigan requested information on the impact on Santa
Ana of the Housing Bill as approved by the House and Senate last
December. Staff to prepare an analysis of the impact on Santa Ana.
ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business before the Housing Authority, the
Meeting was adjourned at 4:19 p.m. to a meeting to be held January 19,
1988 at 2:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 22 civic Center
Plaza.
