CONTINUATION OF PUBLIC HEARING TO ADOPT RESOLUTION DIRECT-
ING CONDEMNATION OF PROPERTY WITHIN THE FERRANTE/WALDER
(B-1) DEVELOPMENT SITE (819 N. FLOWER STREET)
Recommendation: Adopt Resolution 83-4: A RESOLU-
TION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CONDEMNATION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR REDEVEL-
OPMENT PURPOSES IN THE FERRANTE/WALDER JOINT VENTURE
DEVELOPMENT SITE IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, AND DECLARING THE PUBLIC NECESSITY
THEREFOR.
Commission Recommendation:
Not applicable.
PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE PROPOSED SALE BY THE REDEVELOP-
MENT AGENCY TO BIRCHPARK ASSOCIATES (A-l DEVELOPMENT
SITE)
Recommendation:
1.
Adopt Resolution 83-7: A RESOLUTION OF THE
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
AGENCY AND BIRCHPARK ASSOCIATES.
2.
Adopt proposed budget and authorize its imple-
mentation by the Redevelopment Commission.

Commission Recommendation:
1.
Recommend that the Redevelopment Agency adopt
a resolution authorizing the execution of a
Disposition and Development Agreement with
Birchpark Associates for the development of
the A-I development site.
2.
Recommend that the Redevelopment Agency adopt
the budget and authorize its implementation by
the Redevelopment Commission.
3.
Recommend that the City Council adopt a policy
statement reaffirming its commitment to the
continued maintenance of Flower Park and requir-
ing a public hearing for the consideration of
any change of usage of Flower Park.
4.
Recommend that the City Council authorize
staff to prepare a specific plan, including a
traffic impact analysis, for the adjacent
Flower Park neighborhood.
