RESOLUTION NO. 91-12
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDE-
VELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA RECEIVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAN FOR
THE EDUCATIONAL AND COMMUNITY FACILITIES
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO TAKE CERTAIN
ACTIONS WITH RESPECT TO THE SAID
PROPOSED PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Planning commission of the city of Santa Ana, by
its Resolution No. 91-4, adopted December 9, 1991, has selected a
project area and formulated a Preliminary Plan for the Educational
and community Facilities Redevelopment Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. This Agency hereby receives the Preliminary Plan for the
Educational and Community Facilities Redevelopment Project.
2. This Agency authorizes the Executive Director to under-
take on behalf of this Agency those actions specified to be
undertaken by a redevelopment agency pursuant to Article 3 of
Chapter 4 of the Community Redevelopment (California Health and
Safety Code sections 33000 et seq.), including the following:
a.
Transmittal to the auditor, assessor, and tax collector
of the County of Orange, to the governing bodies of all
local governmental entities receiving any property tax
revenues from property located in the project area of the
proposed project ("other taxing entities"), and to the
State Board of Equalization, a description of the boun-
daries of the project area, a statement that a plan for
the redevelopment of that area is being prepared, a map
indicating the boundaries of the project area, a state-
ment of the last equalized assessment roll the Agency
proposes to use for the allocation of taxes, and such
other matters as the Executive Director determines to be
appropriate.

3. The Executive Director is further authorized to prepare,
or caused to be prepared, environmental documents for the proposed
project in accordance with the California Environmental Quality
Act.
