Ward at 2:02 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza. Council members present were Gordon Bricken, Daniel E. Griset, R.W. Luxembourger, J. Ogden Markel, James E. Ward, and Marry K. Yamamoto. Councilman A1 Serrato arrived at 2:12 p.m. Also present were City Manager/Acting Clerk of the Council B.J. Thompson; City Attorney Keith Gow; members of the staff and press. PLEDGE OF /tLLEGIANCE INVOCATION Following the Pledge of Allegiance, the Invocation was given by Councilman Bricken. RECESS - REGULAR MEETING OF THE CC~ITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY members present. DISSENTING VOTES and Item 10 by Mayor Ward. NO votes were Yamamoto on Items 4B and 4C. At 2:04 p.m. Council recessed to convene the regular meeting of the Oonmmmity Redevelopment Agency. Yamamoto further stated he did not feel Kiwanis should be charged for providing religious services during that week for benefit of the public, and that he wished to go on record as voting NO on the denial of the Kiwanis Club request.
