OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
August 23, 1979
The meeting was called to order in Room 831, City Hall, 20 Civic Center
Plaza, at 5:30 p.m. by Mayor James E. Ward. Council members present
were Gordon Bricken, Daniel E. Griset, R. W. LtLxembourger, A1 Serrato,
Harry K. Yamamoto and Mayor Ward. Councilman J. Ogden Markel arrived at
6:00 p.m. Also present was Deputy Clerk of the Council Martha Lee.
RECESS Inunediately upon convening,
EXBCUTIVB SESSION Council recessed to Executive
INTERVIEWS WITH CLERK CANDIDATES Session to interview applicants
for the Clerk of the Council
position. Council reconvened at 8:30 p.m. with all members present.

the meeting adjourned at 8:30
p.m. to 5:30 p.m. August 24,
