SUBLEASE AGREEMENT WITH ORANGE COUNTY PACIFIC SYMPHONY
After a lengthy discussion, it was agreed by the Agency
Members that the following items should be attached to the
Sublease Agreement with the Orange County Pacific Symphony
as a statement of intent:
1.
The uses proposed for the church structure include
the Symphony, chorale and opera organizations, all
of which will be affiliated with Santa Ana.
2.
A potential for a new, community-oriented Symphony
exists.
-
,
.
3.
Lessons, scholarships, camps and other institutional
instructional capabilities exist with the management
network as proposed.
4.
A mini-performance and rehearsal center will be
available for community groups as well as for
sublessees.
5.
As a stabilizing factor, the increased population
of the site will be apparent from both night and
day-time use.
6.
A relocation of the Templo Calvario enables the
congregation to fulfill its goals.
The President of the Orange County Pacific Symphony stated
that he did not mind if this list was attached to the
Sublease Agreement and that he would do his very best to
honor it but that he did object to its being made a
condition of the lease.
It was moved by Mr. Johnson, seconded by Mr. Acosta that the
Agency authorize the sublease of the Templo Calvario
building to the Orange County Pacific Symphony for
administrative, rehearsal and other related purposes.
