OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA~ CALIFORNIA
November 29, 1979
The meeting was called to order informally at 6:30 p.m. by Mayor James E.
Ward at the Hungry Tiger restaurant, 1641 Sunflower Avenue. Council mem-
bers present were Gordon Bricken, R, W. Luxembourger, J. Ogden Markel,
Harry K. Yamamoto and Mayor Ward. Councilmen Daniel E. Griset and Alfred
C. Serrato were absent. Staff members present were City Manager B. J.
Thompson, City Attorney Keith L. Gow, and Clerk of the Council Janice C.
Guy. Also present were representatives of the City of Costa Mesa.
The purpose of the meeting was to encourage the continuance of open com-
munication channels between theCities of Santa Ana and Costa Mesa. Pur-
suant to this objective,.matters of mutual interest and concern were dis-
cussed. No action was taken by the Council.
The meeting was adjourned informally at 9:10 p.m.
