SPECIAL JOINT MEETING
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/CITY COUNCIL
MAY 5, 1986
The Special Joint Meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency
and the City Council was called to order in the Council
Chambers of the City of Santa Ana, 22 Civic Center Plaza, at
5:00 P.M. by Chairman Griset. The roll was called:

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF TAX
BONDS FOR THE SOUTH MAIN PROJECT AREA
ALLOCATION
REFUNDING
It was moved by Chairman Griset, seconded by Agency Member
Young and carried unanimously (7:0) that the Agency:
1.
Adopt Resolution 86-22: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF SANTA ANA SOUTH MAIN STREET REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT TAX
ALLOCATION REFUNDING BONDS OF SAID AGENCY IN A PRINCIPAL
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWENTY FOUR MILLION DOLLARS
($24,000,000) AND APPROVING THE OFFICIAL STATEMENT AND
PURCHASING AGREEMENT IN CONNECTION THEREWITH
.
Approve contracts with Bond Counsel ($47,000) and Fiscal
Consultant ($17,000) for work performed on the subject
refunding.
It was moved by Vice Mayor Johnson, seconded by Council Member
Young and carried unanimously (7:0) that the Council adopt A
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE ISSUANCE BY THE SANTA ANA COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF ITS SOUTH MAIN STREET REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT, TAX ALLOCATION REFUNDING BONDS, 1986 SERIES A AND
MAKING CERTAIN DETERMINATIONS RELATING THERETO.
