REGULAR MEETING
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
SEPTEMBER 19, 1989
The Regular Meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency was called to order
at 5:36 p.m. by Chairman Young in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza,
Santa Ana, California.

It was moved by Agency Member Acosta, seconded by Agency Member McGuigan and
carried unanimously (6:0) that the Redevelopment Agency approve the Minutes of
the Regular Meeting held August 15, 1989.
GRANTING EXTENSION OF EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO NEGOTIATE TO HUTTON DEVELOPMENT FOR
THE IC-l SITE
It was moved by Agency Member Acosta, seconded by Agency Member McGuigan and
carried unanimously (6:0) that the Redevelopment Agency grant a nine-month
extension of the Exclusive Right to Negotiate on the IC-l site to Hutton
Development Company, Inc.
EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO NEGOTIATE ON THE C-8 SITE
It was moved by Agency Member Pulido, seconded by Agency Member Acosta and
carried unanimously (6:0) that the Redevelopment Agency approve an Exclusive
Right to Negotiate with Griffin/Related Properties for a nine-month period for
development of the C-8 site.

AGENCY SECRETARY REPORT
It was moved by Agency Member McGuigan, seconded by Agency Member Pulido and
carried unanimously (6:0) that the Redevelopment Agency instruct the Agency
Secretary to enter into the Minutes: Pursuant to Government Code Section
54954.2, the Agenda for the August 15, 1989 Regular Meeting of the Community
Redevelopment Agency was posted on the door of the Council Chambers, 22 Civic
Center Plaza, at 10 a.m. on August 11, 1989.
CLOSED SESSION
The meeting adjourned to Closed Session in Room 147 of the Council Chambers at
5:38 p.m.
The Agency Secretary read the following:
"The Legal Counsel requests thst the Redevelopment Agency recess to Closed
Session, pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.9(A) to confer to its
attorney regarding pending litigation which has been initiated formally, and
to which the Redevelopment Agency is a party." The title of the litigation is:

REPORT FROM CLOSED SESSION
The Agency Members returned to the Council Chambers at 5:43 p.m. with all
members present.
It was moved by Agency Member Pulido, seconded by Agency Member McGuigan and
carried unanimously (6:0) that the Redevelopment Agency approve the following
settlement:
Communitv RedeveloDment A2encv vs. Morisch Enterorises. Inc
Settlement in the amount of $941,937.00 plus interest
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Redevelopment Agency, the
meeting was adjourned at 5:44 p.m.
