NELSON, Executive Director Community Development Agency mmn Motion: Approve the Minutes of the Special Meeting of the CoImlUIlity Redevelopment Agency held on Aprfl18, 1994 and the Regular Meeting held April 19, 1994. The April 18, 1994 Agenda for the Special Meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency was posted on the door of the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, at 9 a.m. on April 11, 1994. . . . . . . The Notice of Adjournment of the April 19, 1994 Meeting of the CoD11JlU11ity Redevelopment Agency was posted on the door of the CoWlcil Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, at 5:32 p.m. on April 19, 1994. Authorize the proposed modifications to the Substantial Rehabilitation and New Construction Program. 2. Authorize the Executive Director of the CoD11JlU11ity Redevelopment: Agency to implement the program, and execute all required documents consistent with the approved program standards. Approve a Funding Analysis with a total estimated project cost of $81,000. 2. Award the base bid, plus Alternate No.1, and authorize the Chairman and the Execut:ive Director to execute, a contract with Tri Span, Inc., the lowest responsive bidder, in the amoWlt of $51,347 for asbestos abatement at the YMCA Building. DISCOVERY SCIENCE CENTER MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ~ Direct the Agency Attonley to prepare, and authorize the Chairman and Executive Director to execute, a Memorandum of Understanding with the Board of Directors of the Discovery Museum of Orange County covering the development of the Discovery Science Center. Approve a deferred payment loan in the S11IOunt of $472,708 to Civic Center Barrio Housing Corporation for the rehabilita- tion of three separate six-unit apartment buildings located on Myrtle Street within the Weed and Seed target area. 2. Direct the Agency Attonley to prepare, and authorize the Executive Director to execute, a loan agreement and all other required documents, which will acco/lJlDOdate the loan with affordable requirements consistent with state redevelopment law. .
