Motion:
Instruct the Recording Secretary to enter notice of posting into the
Minutes.
The February 20, 1996 Agenda for the Regular Meeting of the Col1ll1lUI1ity
Redevelopment Agency was posted on the door of the Council Chambers,
22 Civic Center Plaza at 9 a.m. on February 16, 1996.
The Notice of Adjournment for the February 20, 1996 Col1ll1lUI1ity
Redevelopment Agency Regular Meeting was posted on the door of the
Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza at 9 a.m. on February 21,
1996.
The February 26,2996 Agenda for the Adjourned Regular Meeting of
the Col1ll1lUI1ity Redevelopment Agency was posted on the door of the
Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza at 2 p.m. on February 23,
1996.
The Notice of Adjournment for the February 26, 1996 Col1ll1lUI1ity
Redevelopment Agency Adjourned Regular Meeting was posted on the
door of the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza at 9 a.m. on

PAINT IT NOW PROGRAM
Agency Member Moreno expressed concern that a $50,000 contract was to be awarded
by the Community Development Agency Executive Director rather than by elected
officials and requested that approval of the "Paint It Now" Program be deferred
pending award of the bid.
Motion:
1.
Approve implementation of the Paint It Now Program within the
Weed and Seed target neighborhood.
2.
Authorize staff to secure bids for the painting contract at the
appropriate time.

Direct the Agency Attorney to prepare, and authorize the Chairma.n and
Executive Director to execute, an agreement for the acquisition of
real property and escrow instructions acquiring the real property
located at 814 North Garfield Street, Santa Ana from Wanda Lowry and
Audrey F. Nero, for $45,000.
