RESOLUTION NO, 74-26
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION
OF REAL PROPERTY FOR REDEVELOPMENT PURPOSES, SPECI-
FICALLY PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS, FACILITIES AND UTILITIES,
LOCATED WITHIN THE AREA OF ROSS STREET, FIRST STREET,
BIRCH STREET AND BIRCH PARK
BE IT RESOLVED: That the Community Redevelopment Agency
of the City of Santa Ana does hereby find and declare that the
public interest and necessity require that for redevelopment
purposes, specifically public improvements, facilities, or
utilities, the hereinbelow described real property be condemned.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That such acquisition is done in
a manner consistent with the greatest public good and the least
private injury.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the attached map be entered
as Exhibit A and be used as an illustration of the property to
be condemned. Said Exhibit A is incorporated by this reference
as if fully set forth herein,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the attached legal d~scrip-
tion be entered as Exhibit B and is the description of the
property to be condemned. Exhibit ß is incorporated by this
reference as if fully set forth herein,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Community Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Santa Ana does hereby find and declare
that "public improvements, faciliti~s or utilities" includes
senior citizens housing,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Community Redevelopment Agency
of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the
16th day of December, 1974.

EXHIBIT "B"
That portion of the Park Tract Addition to Santa Ana as
per map recorded in Book 1, page 30 of Record of Surveys,
Records of Orange County, State of California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 13 of said Park
Tract; thence Easterly along the South line 119,7 feet
to the Southeast corner of said Lot 13; thence Easterly
50 feet along the Easterly prolongation of said South
line of Lot 13 to the Southwest corner of that land
described as "Birch Park" in said Park Tract; thence
Easterly along the South line 250 feet to the Southeast
corner of said "Birch Park"; thence Southerly along the
Southerly prolongation of the East line of said Birch
Park 60 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 28 of said
Park Tract, said northeast corner being a point along the
South line of said Second Street; thence Westerly 418.7
feet along said South line to the Northwest corner of
Lot 14 of said Park Tract; thence Northerly 60 feet
along the Northerly prolongation of the West line of
said Lot 14, to the point of beginning.
