RESOLUTION NO. 78-14 RESOLUTION or THE COMMUNIT~ REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CI'l'Y OF SANTA ANA AWARDING $13,500,000 BONDS or SAID AGENCY TO THE BEST BIDDE~ AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for the open- ing of bids for the $13,500,000 bonds of the Community Ra- development Agency of the City of Santa Ana, d8signated the "City of Santa Ana Redevelopment Project Area, 1978 Tax Allocation Bonds" (the "Bonds"), and numbered 1 to 2700, in- clusive, all bids were publicly opened, examined and read, and a tabulation thereof has been entered in the minutes; and WHEREAS, the bid of the bidder hereinafter named is the best bid made by a responsible bidder for the Bonds. NOW, THEREFORE, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows: Section 1, The following bid of Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith Inc. attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A", specifying the .pur- chase price for the Bonds plus accrued interest to the date of delivery and the interest rates per annum, is the bid for the Bonds yielding the lowest net interest cost and said bid is hereby accepted and the Bonds awarded to the said best bidder in accordance with the terms of its proposal. All b~ds other than the one accepted in Section 1 hereof a~e ~ejected, and the Secreta~y of the Agency i~ directed to return the check accompanying each rejected bid to the un~uccessful b~dder. Section 3, The interest ~ates on the Bonds are hereby fixed at the rate~ set forth in Exhibit "A" hereto. Section 4.
