RESOLUTION NO. 79-16
.
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING
THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE PARTICIPATION
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOP-
MENT AGENCY AND AMERICAN NATIONAL PROPERTIES
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency
previously entered into that certain agreement entitled
"participation Agreement," dated January 15, 1979, with
American National Properties, hereinafter referred to as
"Said Agreement;" and
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency has
acquired a portion of the property described in ,Said
Agreement as the "Phase I Sales Parcel;" and
WHEREAS, the remaining portion of said "Phase I
Sales parcel," is being acquired by the Community
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana in that
certain eminent domain action currently pending in the
Orange County Superior Court, Case No. 314253; and

WHEREAS, American National properties desires to
take title and begin construction on the portion of said
"Phase I Sales Parcel" previously acquired by the Community
Redevelopment Agency.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Chairman of the Agency is hereby
authorized to execute that certain "First Amendment to the
Participation Agreement between Agency and American National
Properties," form dated August 10, 1979, and related grant
deeds, copies of which are on file in the office of the
Secretary of the Agency, to which copies reference is hereby
made for full particulars.

2. The Executive Director is hereby authorized
to take all steps, and to sign all documents and
instruments, including but not limited to, escrow
instructions, necessary to carry out said first Amendment to
the Participation Agreement between the Community Redevelop-
ment Agency and American National Properties on behalf of
the Agency.

1979, by the following vote:

Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto
