RESOLUTION NO. 82-23
.
A RESOLUTION OF THE SANTA ANA COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION SUBMITTING THE
PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND THE
DRAFT EIR RELATING THERETO TO THE CITY
COUNCIL, AND CONSENTING TO CALL A JOINT
PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED REDEVELOP-
MENT PLAN FOR THE SANTA ANA SOUTH HARBOR
BOULEVARD/FAIRVIEW STREET REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT AND THE DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL
IMPACT REPORT RELATING THERETO

WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Commission of
the City of Santa Ana has prepared a proposed Redevelopment
Plan for the Santa Ana South Harbor Boulevard/Fairview
Street Redevelopment Project; and
WHEREAS, the Commission will submit the proposed
Redevelopment Plan to the Planning Commission of the City of
Santa Ana for its report and recommendation; and
)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the California Environmental
Quality Act, the State EIR Guidelines and the local
procedures adopted pursuant thereto, the Commission has
prepared and is circulating a Draft Environmental Impact
Report for the Project, and is required to conduct a public
hearing on the Draft EIR, and on the basis of comments
received, will prepare a Final EIR for the Project; and
WHEREAS, Section 33355 of the California Community
Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et
~) authorizes a joint public hearing on the proposed--
Redevelopment Plan with the consent of the Commission and
the City Council of the City of Santa Ana;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SANTA ANA
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS:

1. The Commission hereby submits the proposed
Redevelopment Plan for the Santa Ana South Harbor
Boulevard/Fairview Street Redevelopment Project, and the
Draft EIR relating thereto, to the City Council.
2. The Commission hereby consents to a joint public
hearing on the proposed Redevelopment Plan for the Project,
and requests the City Council to call a joint public hearing
of the Commission and the City Council on Tuesday, June 15,
1982 at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers to consider

and act upon the proposed Redevelopment Plan and all
documents and evidence pertaining thereto, together with a
joint public hearing on the Draft Environmental Report for
the proj ect.
3. The Executive Director shall in cooperation with
the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana prepare, publish and mail
such notices and documents, and do all other acts as may be
necessary to carry out the purposes of this Resolution.
