RESOLUTION NO. 83-6
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING
THE CHAIRMAN OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF'SANTA ANA TO EXECUTE
AN AGREEMENT FOR ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY
BETWEEN THE AGENCY AND STUART SCHMID AND
CHARLYN SCHMID FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
907 NORTH FLOWER STREET
BE IT RESOLVED by the Community Redevelopment
Commission of the City of Santa Ana as follows:
1. The Chairman of the Community Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Santa Ana is hereby authorized to
execute on behalf of the Agency that certain agreement
entitled "Agreement for Acquisition of Real Property," form
dated 5/28/76, between the Agency and Stuart Schmid and
Charlyn Schmid, for property located at 907 North Flower
Street, copies of which are on file in the office of the
Executive Director of the Agency and to which reference is
hereby made for full particulars.
2. The Executive Director of the Agency is
hereby authorized to take all steps, and to sign all
documents and instruments necessary to implement and carry
out the Agreement on behalf of the Agency.

Real Property'at 907 No, Flower Street
Dear Mr. Ream:
After many discussions with my brother, Dr. Stuart Schmid, we have
decided to accept your offer of purchase of the property at 907
North Flower for the amount of $58,000 as originally offered,
Neither one of us have the time to devote to following through
the court process, and for the simple logistics of where we
reside it makes it difficult.
I still have a major concern for my tenants, Mr. and Mrs. Arnu1fo
N. Padilla. (His last name is Padilla and not Negrete as stated-
on the summons.) I would hope you could send someone to the house
to explain to him his rights as a tenant because of limited
knowledge of the English language, I know he has received all
the legal papers, but I believe an explanation in simple words
that he may understand, or in his native language, would be help-
ful. They have been wonderful tenants and I do not want them
frightened by all the legal terminology,
I would request that you expedite the papers as quickly as possible
for signature. We are requesting also that the payment be made in
two separate checks, divided equally between my brother and myself.
