RESOLUTION NO. 80-56
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING
AN AMENDMENT TO A CONTRACT FOR SALE OF LAND
FOR PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT WITH SANTA ANA INTOWN
APARTMENTS AND APPROVING AN AMENDED DECLARATION
OF RESTRICTIONS FOR THE LAND SUBJECT THERETO
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the
City of Santa Ana and the Housing Authority of the City of
Santa Ana entered into i a "Contract for Sale of Land for
Private Development" with Santa Ana Intown Apartments on May
2,1977 for the development of land bounded by Ross Street
on the east, First Street on the south, Flower Street on the
west, and Third Street on the north ("subject site") for
multifamily residential use, and a certain "Declaration of
Restrictions" was executed on December 27, 1978 to restrict
the use of the easterly portion of the subject site in
accordance with the terms of said contract; and
WHEREAS, the parties now desire to amend the said
contract and execute an amended Declaration of Restrictions
in order to eliminate all restrictions based on the income
status of occupants of the dwelling units on the subject
site in order to promote the financing of the development as
condominiums;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That certain "First Amendment to
Sale of Land for Private Development," Form No.
a copy of which is on file in the office of the
Director of the Agency, is hereby approved, and
is authorized to execute the same.

2. That certain "Declaration of Restrictions
(Amended)," Form No. 6/2/80 , a copy of which is on
file in the office of the Executive Director of the Agency,
is hereby approved, and the Chairman is authorized to execute
the same as soon as the above said Amendment becomes effective
by its terms.
3. The Executive Director of the Agency is
authorized and directed to cause the said "Declaration of
Restrictions (Amended)" to be recorded in the official
records of the County of Orange promptly following its
execution by the parties thereto.
