OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
November 19, 1981
The meeting was called to order at 5:50 p.m. by Vice Mayor R. W. Luxembourger
in Room 831, City Hall, 20 Civic Center Plaza. Councilmembers present were
John Acosta, Jo Ogden Markel, Patricia A. McGuigan, and Vice Mayor R. Wo
Luxembourger. Also present were City Manager A. J. Wilson, Assistant City
Attorney Richard Lay, and Administrative Aide to the Clerk of the Council
Deanna Clark. Councilmember Alfred C. Serrato and Mayor Gordon Bricken
were absent; Councilmember Daniel E. Griset arrived at 6:40 p.m.

The City Manager gave a slide
presentation which depicted Santa
Aha viewed from positive and
negative perspectives.
Copies of the City's Goals and Objectives: A Two-Year Plan were distribu-
ted to Chairmen of the Boards and Commissions or representatives present.
The City Manager presented an overview of these Goals and Objectives and
informed the Board representatives that they would be contacted by City
staff as to ways in which they might contribute to furthering those goals
and objectives.
Following a short discussion of the Goals and Objectives, Board/Commission
representatives present introduced themselves and expressed their concerns
regarding how their individual boards might improve working relationships
with City Council and staff.
ADJOURNMENT At 7:14 p.m., the Council ad-
journed by unanimous informal
consent.
