RESOLUTION NO. 81-132
A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AUTHORIZING CONSULTATIONS WITH PROJECT
AREA RESIDENTS AND COMMUNITY ORGANI-
ZATIONS IN CONNECTION WITH PREPARATION
OF THE REDEV~LOPMENr PLAN FOR THE SANTA
ANA SOUTH HARBOR BOULEVARD REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 81-186, adopted on
November 2,1981, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
found and determined that the Santa Ana South Harbor Boulevard
Redevelopment Project will not displace a substantial number
of low- and moderate-income families, that formation of a
project area committee is not required prior to the adoption
of the Redevelopment Plan for the proposed Project, and that
a project area committee shall not be formed in connection
with the Project; and
WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment
Law (Health and Safety Code, Section 33000 et seq.)
requires, in the event the Project will not displace a
substantial number of low- and moderate-income families, the
Redevelopment Commission to consult with and obtain the
advice of residents and community organizations either
through the formation of a project area committee or through
direct consultation with and obtaining advice from such
residents and community organizations, and further requires
that the proposed Redevelopment Plan be provided to such
residents and community organizations prior to submitting it
to the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the
Redevelopment Commission of the City of Santa Ana as
follows:

The Executive Director of the Community
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana is hereby
authorized and directed to consult with and obtain the
advice of residents and community organizations within the

Project Area, and to provide such residents and
organizations with the Redevelopment Plan prior to its
submission to the City Council.
