RESOLUTION NO. 81-124

A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ADOPTING
AN HISTORICAL REHABILITATION FINANCING
PROGRAM PURSUANT TO THE MARKS HISTORICAL
REHABILITATION ACT OF 1976
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana initiated adoption
of an Historical Rehabilitation Financing Program pursuant
to the Marks Historical Rehabilitation Act of 1976 by the
adoption of Ordinance No. NS-1519, adding Chapter 34 to the
Santa Ana Municipal Code, providing criteria for the
selection of historical properties eligible for financing
and criteria for the selection of historical rehabilitation
areas pursuant to the said Act; and

WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana completed adoption
of such Historical Rehabilitation Financing Program by the
adoption by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana of
Resolution No. 80~86, dated June 2,1980, designating an
historical rehabilitation area and adopting procedures for
the selection and financing of rehabilitation projects
pursuant to the said Act; and
WHEREAS, prior to adopting the said Historical
Rehabilitation Financing Program, the City of Santa Ana
provided for maximum citizen participation by persons who
would be affected by historical rehabilitation financed
under the provisions of the said Act, with opportunities to
be involved in planning and carrying out the historical
rehabilitation program, in accordance with the requirements
of Section 37628 of the said Act; and
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the
City of Santa Ana is a local agency authorized to undertake
historical rehabilitation financing pursuant to the said
Act; and

WHEREAS, the Agency desires to issue its bonds or
notes for historical rehabilitation financing purposes
pursuant to the said Act and to otherwise exercise the
powers authorized to local agencies by the said Act, based
upon the same Historical Rehabilitation Financing Program as
adopted by the City of Santa Ana;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:

1. That the Historical Rehabilitation Financing
Program set forth in Ordinance No. NS-1519 of the City of
Santa Ana and Resolution No. 80-86, which ordinance and
resolution are hereby incorporated herein by this refßrence
as though fully set forth, is hereby adopted as the
Historical Rehabilitation Financing Program of the Community
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana, for purposes
of the Marks Historical Rehabilitation Act of 1976.
2. That the Executive Director of the Agency is
authorized to carry out the duties of Administrative Officer
as set forth in the procedures for selection and financing
of rehabilitation projects in the said Program with respect
to all rehabilitation projects financed by the Agency
pursuant to the said Act.
