RESOLUTION NO. 81-97
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING
THE CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE A COMMERCIAL REHA-
BILITATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE AGENCY AND
RONALD L. ROELOFS AND JUDY M. ROELOFS
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
307/309 W. FOURTH
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXEMPTION OF SAID
PROPERTY FROM ACQUISITION BY THE AGENCY BY
EMINENT DOMAIN UPON CERTAIN CONDITIONS
BE IT RESOLVED by the Community Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Santa Ana as follows:
1. The Chairman of.the Agency is hereby
authorized to execute on behalf of the Agency that certain
agreement entitled "Commercial Rehabilitation Participation
Agreement, (307/309 W. Fourth)"
form dated 3/25/81, between the Agency and
Ronald L. Roelofs and Judy M. Roelofs
copies of which are on f~le in the office of the Executive
Director of the Agency and to which reference is hereby made
for full particulars, which Agreement pertains to property
(hereinafter referred to as the "9ubject property")
specifically described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
2. The Executive Director is hereby authorized
to take all steps, and to sign all documents and instruments
necessary to implement and carry out this Agreement on
behalf of the Agency.

3. Upon issuance of a Certificate of Completion
pursuant to the above9aid Agreement, the Executive Director
of the Agency shall cause this Resolution to be recorded in
the Official Records of Orange County. From and after the
date of such recordation, the subject property shall be
exempt from acquisition by the Agency by eminent domain in
accordance with section 33399(g) of the Community
Redevelopment Law, subject to the. condition that, in the
event of the substantial destruction of the building
rehabilitated pursuant to the abovesaid Agreement, said
exemption shall terminate.

PARCEL 1:

Beginning at a point on the North line of Fourth Street, 155
feet West of the Southwest corner of Block 13 of the Town of
Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded in Book 2, Page 51 of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California,
running thence North 100 feet parallel to the West line of
Broadway; thence West 50 feet parallel to the North line of
Fourth Street; thence South 100 feet parallel to the West
line of Broadway to a point of the North line of Fourth
Street; thence East 50 feet along the North line of Fourth
Street to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 2:
A portion of that certain parcel labeled J. C. Micky as shown
on a map of "Birch Addition to Santa Ana", recorded in Book 3,
Page 145 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
California, in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State
of California, described as follows:

Beginning at a point South 00 23' 00" West 16.12 feet from the
Northeast corner of Lot 17 of said Birch Addition to Santa Ana,
said point of beginning being in the Easterly line of said
Lot 17; thence South 890 59' 22" East 125.11 feet to a point
in the Westerly line of Broadway, 80.00 feet wide; thenõe South
00 28' 00" West 9.00 feet, along said Westerly line to a
point, said point being 140.04 feet Northerly, measured at
right angles from the monumented centerline of Fourth Street;
thence North 890 59' 22" West 125.10 feet to a point in the
Easterly line of said Lot 17; said point being 140.03 feet
Northerly, measured at right angles, from the monumented
centerline of Fourth Street; thence North 00 23' 00" East
9.00 feet, along the Easterly line of said Lot 17 to the point
of beginning.
