I REL:adg 8/7/81 Zù RECORDING REQUESTED BY: The Community Redevelopment ~gency of the City of Santa Ana WHEN RECORDED, MAIL TO: Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana 20 Civic Center Plaza Santa Ana, CA 92701 RESOLUTION NO. 81-82 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE A COMMERCIAL REHA- BILITATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE AGENCY AND Y.M.C.A. OF ORANGE COUNTY FOR PROPERTY LOCATED ~T 205 W. CIVIC CENTER AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXEMPTION OF SAID PROPERTY FROM ACQUISITION BY THE AGENCY BY EMINENT DOMAIN UPON CERTAIN CONDITIONS BE IT RESOLVED by the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana as follows: 1. The Chairman of the Agency is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the Agency that certain agreement entitled .Commercial Rehabilitation Participation Agreement, (205 W. Civic Center) ," form dated 3/25/81, between the Agency and Y.M.C.A. of Orange County, copies of which are on file in the office of the Executive Director of the Agency and to which reference is hereby made for full particulars, which Agreement pertains to property (hereinafter referred to as the .subject property") specifically described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. 2. The Executive Director is hereby authorized to take all steps, and to sign all documents and instruments necessary to implement and 'carry out this Agreement on behalf of the Agency. It.. " 5A 1 .' Upon i9suance of a Certificate of Completion pursuant to the abovesaid Agreement, the Executive Director of the Agency shall cause this Resolution to be recorded in the Official Records of Orange County. From and after the date of such recordation, the subject property shall be exempt from acquisition by the Agency by eminent domain in accordance with section 33399(g) of the Community Redevelopment Law, subject to the condition that, in the event of the substantial destruction of the building rehabilitated pursuant to the abovesaid Agreement, said exemption shall terminate.
