RESOLUTION NO. 81-81
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING
THE CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE A COMMERCIAL REHA-
BILITATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE AGENCY AND
ROSALIND K. ROBBINS AND A. LEONARD ROBBINS
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
215/217 W. FOURTH ST.
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXEMPTION OF SAID
PROPERTY FROM ACQUISITION BY THE AGENCY BY
EMINENT DOMAIN UPON CERTAIN CONDITIONS

BE IT RESOLVED by the Community Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Santa Ana as follows:
1. The Chairman of the Agency is hereby
authorized to execute on behalf of the Agency that certain
agreement entitled "Commercial Rehabilitation Participation
Agreement, (215/217 W. Fourth St.),"
form dated 3/25/81, between the Agency and
Rosalind K. Robbins and A. Leonard Robbins,
copies of which are on file in the office of the Executive
Director of the Agency and to which reference is hereby made
for full particulars, which Agreement pertains to property
(hereinafter referred to as the .subject property")
specifically described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.

2. The Executive Director is hereby authorized
to take all steps, and to sign all documents and instruments
necessary to implement and carry out this Agreement on
behalf of the Agency.

3. Upon issuance of a Certificate of Completion
pursuant to the abovesai~ Agreement, the Executive Director
of the Agency shall cause this Re90lution to be recorded in
the Official Records of Orange County. From and after the
date of such recordation, the .ubject property shall be
exempt from acquisition by the Agency by eminent domain in
accordance with section 33399(g) of the Community
Redevelopment Law, subject to the condition that, in the
event of the substantial destruction of the building
rehabilitated pursuant to the abovesaid Agreement, said
exemption shall terminate.

EXHIBIT A
The real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State
of California, described as follows:
That portion of Lots 2 and 3 in Block 13 of Town of Santa Ana, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 2, Page 51 of Miscellaneous Records
~ of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows:
Beginning on the north line of 4th Street at a point 84.03 feet East of
its intersection with the East line of Broadway (formerly West Street);
thence North along the center line of an existing wall and the Northerly
extension thereof to the North line of said Lot 3; thence East along the
North line of said Lot 3, 21.30 feet to the Northeast corner of the land
described in the deed to Earl J. Thee and wife, recorded April 19,1949
in Book 1831, Page 37, Official Records; thence South 100 feet to the
North line of 4th Street; thence West 20.97 feet to the point of
beginning.
All that certain land situated in the State of California, County of
Orange, City of Santa Ana, described as follows:
That portion of Lots 2 and 3 in Block 13 as shown on a map recorded in
Book 2, Page 51 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning on the North line of Fourth Street at a point 62,5 feet East
of its intersection with the East line of Broadway (formerly West
I Street); thence East along the North line of Fourth Street, 21.53 feet;
thence North along the center line of an existing wall and the Northerly
extension thereof to the North line of said Lot 3, thence West along the
North line of said Lot 3, 22.20 feet to an intersection with a line
running Northerly at right angles to the North line of Fourth Street
through the point of beginning; thence Southerly along said line to the
point of beginning.
